Cusco city and the Sacred Valley are MUSTS for your itinerary. Furthermore, along the road that connects both destinations, there are many fantastic sites that would complete your unique experience in Cusco. As soon as you arrive to Cusco you need to get your Cusco Touristic Ticket (BTC for its initials in Spanish). This full-package ticket allows you to visit 16 of the most important archaeological sites, museums and cultural places in Cusco, Sacred Valley and their surroundings. The visits are grouped into the following circuits.

Circuit 1: Convento de Santa Catalina, Museo de Arte Contemporáneo, Museo Histórico Regional, Museo de Sitio de Qorikancha, Museo de Arte Popular, Centro Qosqo de Arte Nativo, Monumento al Inka Pachacuteq
Circuit 2: (or Cusco nearby ruins circuit): Sacsaywaman, Q´enqo, Puka Pukara, Tambomachay
Circuit 3: Pisaq, Chinchero, Ollantaytambo
Circuit 4: Tipon, Pikillaqta

The general rate of this ticket is S/. 130 (US$45 approx.). If you have a student card, you can get the student rate for S/. 70 (US$25 approx.). If you would rather take a cheaper and shorter trip, you can either purchase a 1-2 circuit package or a 3-4 circuit package. Remember you won’t be allowed to pick and choose your visits. Pariwana suggests that you do all 4 circuits- you won´t regret it! In case you won’t have time for the entire visits, you should select circuit 3 and 4.
